- Approvals are sent on a first come, first serve basis. We get over 600 applications in and very rarely does someone sell something that no one else does. We cannot allow 10 lemonade vendors, 20 crochet vendors, 8 BBQ vendors, etc… in at once. You will be a PREFERRED vendor if you can show up every week.
- You are REQUIRED to show up AT LEAST once a month to hold your spot. If we do not see you for four straight markets, your spot will be given to the next vendor in your category, and you will be removed from the approved list unless you have spoken with us directly.
- DO NOT sign up if you have a medical condition that prevents you from being in the heat. THREE of the six months we are open are HOT. We will not hold your position if you fail to attend these months and try to show back up in October. DO NOT sign up if you are out of towners and only plan to come once or twice for the season.
- HOLIDAY/NIGHT/SPECIAL MARKETS – These are RESERVED for vendors who attended at least 90% of the season. If we only saw you once or twice, you will not be permitted into these special markets.
- Approvals – You will receive a response on your application within SEVEN days of applying, if you do not hear from us, CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER for an email from burlesonfarmersmarket@gmail.com or shelby@candefarmtx.com. Once approved, you have one month to setup with us and then we move on to the next in your category if we haven’t seen you.
- Vendor fee – $45 per booth each time you setup (CASH ONLY), you may choose as many as 2 spaces, if need be ($90 total), this is to be paid on Saturdays after setup has completed.
- You must have a Facebook in order to be a vendor, does not have to be a business one, your personal one will be fine. Our vendor Facebook group is how we communicate with everyone each week and where the weekly signups will be posted for you to let us know if you are attending that week or not.
- We try to keep the market 90-95% handmade so your application may be denied if the resale category is already full.
- All products have to be approved, do not sign up with one thing and bring a different one. If you would like to add products throughout the season, you MUST get approval first.
